BINTM 2012: Emma Sharratt - 'Julien knocked my confidence'
In the third week of Britain And Ireland's Next Top Model, Emma Sharratt was sent home - we caught up with her to chat about being on the show.
Yikes - we know that fashion designer Julien Mcdonald has a sharp tongue, but even we thought that he was maybe a bit too harsh towards former BINTM contestant Emma Sharratt. In the second episode of the Sky Living show, Julien told Emma that she doesn't look like a model - a huge knock to the 18-year-old's confidence. Emma lasted three weeks on the show before becoming the latest model to leave the competition. We caught up with her about how she found being on the show...
Was your experience on BINTM everything that you thought it would be?
To be honest with you, we got to do a lot more than I expected, like going to Dubai and everything and I think it was better than what I expected, although I didn't do too well on it, but I got to meet loads of really great people, which is what I'll take from it.
You did three amazing photoshoots, which was your favourite and why?
My favourite was the first photoshoot, which was the beach one. At the start I was unsure about not having a lot of makeup and wearing a really simple outfit, but when I had to do it I actually really liked it. It was the first shoot, but I think I got the least criticism for it.
Talking of criticism, Julien seemed quite harsh towards you - do you think that's what knocked your confidence?
