Kate joins in Mexican wave

Kate was watching the men's singles quarter-finals in which Andy Murray beat Nicolas Almagro of Spain. She recycled a Stella McCartney dress for the occasion and wasn't seated in the Royal box.

 

The whole atmosphere at SW19 was very different to the Grand Slam a few weeks ago, with coloured kit and purple Olympics logos everywhere, and the crowd seem to be much more animated.

 

While Almagro had treatment on a shoulder problem the crowd started a Mexican wave. Everyone's eyes turned to Wills and Kate to see whether they would join in - she did, his wave was rather more half-hearted.

 

Murray won to set up a semi-final against Novak Djokovic, at which we will surely see more Mexican waves.

 

Kate then headed for the Velodrome where she saw Victoria Pendleton disqualified from her race.
